This project proposed to locate a biomass (willow coppice) power station on the redevelopment site of the former colliery at Grimethorpe. 2B was appointed as landscape consultant, but it soon became clear that our graphical skills would be of great assistance on the project. 2B produced a coordinated exhibition with content provided by a team of consultants. The exhibition was taken to various locations around Grimethorpe to explain the proposals.
Photomontages were produced, based on the architect's design, providing a series of views from key locations around the proposed site.
As well as being responsible for the landscape and visual assessment, 2B coordinated the production and printing of the statement itself, creating a stylistically coordinated document rather than a set of individual documents. 2B specified page layout and graphic design, received text and graphics from the team of 10 consultants, compiled the ES (with electronic drafts at relevant stages to the client) and organised the printing of the ES to the client's satisfaction.
